On july 15th, in conjunction with Phebe's Tavern & Grill, Bbicycle for a Day, pearl pr, Regan pr and a host of generous people. I helped produce an art show fundraiser in the bowery.
The event benefited Bicycle for a Day and featured the artwork of Matthew Modine, Kurt Ossenfort,Jay Alders, Todd Williams, Conrad Cote, Theresa Previ, nami, Cheryl Farrington Questore, Lisa Marie O'connell, Severyn, Tara ra Lauducci, Micheal Kabram, Chris Caleo, Kevin Lewis & Tim Kelly.
The aim of the art event was to show some great art to the kind folks that came to enjoy artwork, learn about bicycle for a day and raise money & awareness for the cause. we approximate that 400-500 people attended the event. the evening was fun and was highlighted by a silent auction of artwork and donated items & services which helped to raise money for bfad. guests also generously purchased bfad dog tags which also helped generate funds & awareness for the organization and the environment.
i'd like to thank all of the artists and everyone that helped make this event a success. Special thanks to Ryan Birkenhead and the kind staff at phebe's. Ryan's patience and generosity help make the event happen. Super-special thanks to everyone in attendance that braved the heat.
A Summer Tuesday in the city with an amazing diversity of art & people, together raising funds and awareness for the environment...seriously, isn't that beautiful? art is good.

superstar surf artist, jay alders has a moment of zen & art prior to the start of the show

glass installation artist, theresa previ (right) and sister chrissy with her amazingly detailed (and sturdy) glass creations

the super talented duo of artists cheryl farrington questore & lisa marie o'connell. they not only generously donated artwork to the silent auction, but helped setup and decorate the event. they rock.
