what I may have been thinking:

cool gerry was my great-uncle, unkus, gerard dignan. one cool mo fo. unkus was my grandma's little brother. but he was essential my grandpa.

he's gone. in his prime he was a war hero, semi-pro baseball player and all around gentleman. someone to admire.

i really miss unkus. he was cool.

made this for his 85th birthday.
