what I may have been thinking:

this painting was made during the "Art is Good" art workshops. it represents the people from the david s. zocchi brain tumor center that are involved.

in one of our first sessions i gave a brief lecture about the renaissance and it's significance to art as the rebirth of classical antiquity.

with the making of art, there is rebirth...a new beginning.
